Our Story

 

Compassionate Support for Children & Families

Our team of clinicians in Charlotte, NC, works collaboratively with pediatricians, psychologists, teachers, and parents to encourage positive growth in children dealing with the challenges of autism, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental disorders. 

Led by Dr. Glori Gray, her team’s integrative, research-based approach helps them provide compassionate care for patients and their families.

As a whole, Dr. Gray’s team of behavioral specialists has a combined 50 years of experience providing services in hospitals, primary care, and foster care settings.

These experiences enable her team to provide compassionate support for children and their families as they navigate various behavioral assessments.

Through comprehensive, gold-standard autism, neurodevelopmental, and emotional/behavioral evaluations, we help find solutions for youth ages 2 to 25.


We offer comprehensive, gold-standard Autism, Neurodevelopmental, and Emotional/Behavioral evaluations for youth ages 2 to 25 years old.

It is often difficult to identify autism, ADHD, intellectual delay, and numerous other neurodevelopment disorders in children.

Here are some of the warning signs that warrant assessment:

  • Warning Signs include:

    Social Challenges/Skills deficits

    Sensory Processing Problems

    Social Anxiety

    Challenges with Daily Living Skills and Routines

    Depression / low self esteem

    Low interest in interaction with others

    Concrete thinking, problems with flexibility in thinking

    Fixated interest on topics, thoughts or things

    Problems with transitions with anger outbursts

  • Warning Signs include:

    Behavior problems

    Excessive worry

    Persistent sadness or irritability

    Problems with focus and concentration​

    Hyperactivity

    Problems with organization and completion of work

    Lack of progress in school

    Lagging behind peers in reading, math, or writing

    Trouble finishing tasks in a timely manner

    Problems with procrastination

    Lower than expected performance on standardized tests (e.g., SAT, GRE, LSAT, MCAT, etc.)

    Problems with handwriting and fine motor development

    Behavior problems

    Excessive worry

    Persistent sadness or irritability

Serving Clients and their Families

As autism specialists in Charlotte, we also specialize in providing early childhood neurodevelopmental evaluations. Dr. Gray and her team have spent years furthering their education to better understand and serve patients and their families. 

Parent-Based Needs Using S.P.A.C.E.

Researchers at Yale University developed S.P.A.C.E. with a desire to create parent-based treatment programs for families whose children struggle with anxiety, OCD, and other related problems. This program gives parents the tools to help support their children.
